4 days.
World-class learning.
Great people.
Glorious location.

Unplug. Connect. Grow.

It's been a long time coming, but it's finally here - our first live event. And we're kicking off with a bang!

We suspect that the Vet Vaulters are a group of people who do things a bit differently, who love what they do and like to make things better. Bring them together and throw in two of the best minds in the veterinary world in an amazing location, and it's bound to be an EVENT! We'd love you to be a part of it.

Let's start with the learning:

We've managed to pin down Prof David Church and Prof Jill Maddison, two of the biggest heavyweights in small animal medicine, and we're giving 50 of you exclusive access to their beautiful brains for 2 days.
But this is not your average veterinary learning event - we're going full Vet Vault! Less lecture, more discussion. Less passive, more engaged. Questions - LOTS of questions! Interviews, cases, workshops. The more you bring, the more you get.

Topics: Endocrinology Conundrums and Clinical Reasoning.

The goal: Know a bit more, understand a lot more, think MUCH better.

the experience
But we're not coming all the way to Noosa just to learn, right? This is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and we plan on making the most of it.

Stay a bit longer and join us on a kayak adventure into the Noosa Everglades, a state-of-the-art cooking class, morning beach sessions, afternoon hikes in the national park, scaling a hinterland icon, food and gin tasting at a local distillery, and a personal development session to get some fresh perspective on life with a world-class speaker. (Oh, and do I even need to mention the surf?)
Schedule
tuesday 22 november
Pickup from Noosa and taken to Lake Cootharaba, where we'll join Everglades EcoSafaris to explore the UNESCO world heritage protected Noosa Everglades by kayak and boat. They'll provide morning tea and lunch, so you just bring your bathers, your hat and your camera.
wednesday 23 november
Time for the gurus. It's been 3 years since we've had access to Professors David Church and Jill Maddison, so we're taking full advantage of them with a full day of learning. Our topics are Endocrinology Conundrums and Clinical Reasoning, but your questions and engagement will help determine how far we go and how deep we dig. Expect interviews, case discussions, problem solving. (Don't expect spoon-feeding, except maybe for the ice cream!)

RAVC Resort Noosa
thursday 24 november
Gather at Noosa Main Beach for a morning reset. Yoga, SUP, surf, or just sit with your eyes closed in the morning sun.

Dust the sand from your feet and walk across the road to Locale Noosa for another day of Maddison and Church. Refuel with a spectacular lunch at the venue - Locale Noosa.

We're knocking off early, so we have time to explore Noosa National Park. Whether you choose to amble, power-walk or run the many kilometres of forest and beach, it's a place that clears the head and fills up the soul.
23 or 24 november
Love good food? Fancy yourself a bit of chef? We've arranged a sensational cooking and dining experience at Alba Noosa with renowned chef Peter Kuruvita. Make sure you work up an appetite during our learning sessions!
friday 25 november
Road trip! Bus pickup from Noosa and a meander out into the Hinterland to the little town of Pomona, where we'll strap on our hiking shoes and scale Mount Cooroora. Don't be fooled by the fact that some maniacs can run up and down it in less than 30 minutes in the annual King of the Mountain race - it's a challenging hike! But the views and the fresh air makes it well worth it, especially when our end-destination is the Pomona Gin Distillery, where we'll stop in for an early dinner and some local gin tasting.

But Friday is not just about our physical needs - we'll start and finish Friday with some deep work with coach Philip McKernan. Call it wellbeing, call it balance or soul or mindfulness or developing your authentic self or whatever you want, but don't expect incense and ohms. Philip will kick you in the arse of your soul (if the soul has an arse!?) and do a few rounds of metaphorical open-chest CPR on you. Be ready for some new perspectives. We'll wrap up the day with an extended session with Philip in a very unique venue.
the venues
Our first day of learning will be at the RACV Resort in Noosa. We've also arranged discounted accommodation packages at the resort (the discounted booking link will be emailed to you once you register), so we'll use this as our base and utilise their free shuttle bus to get around town.

For the second day we're turning up the swank with our venue: we're spending the day at Locale Noosa, a beautiful eatery right on Noosa main beach (yes, lunch is included!), so bring your beach gear for a pre-lecture session and a hike in the national park at the end of the day.

accommodation
We have 40 rooms kept asides for conference attendees at a discounted rate of $275 pp per night, breakfast included. We'll send you a link for the discounted accommodation once you book your tickets
